This page explains what we collect when you browse the portfolio, request enamel samples, or book a workshop visit in Woodstock, and what you can ask us to do about it. We keep it plain and specific, the same way we document materials and measurements for each piece.
When you send a commission enquiry or ask for glaze samples, we receive the name, email, phone number and message you type into the form. If you write to us directly, we keep that email thread. We also log basic technical data: browser type, device, approximate region and the pages you viewed, so we can tell which collections get attention.
We use a small set of cookies to keep the site working and to measure visits in aggregate. Analytics events tell us which project pages, material sheets and sample requests are opened. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the portfolio will still load, though some preferences may reset on each visit.
Enquiry details are used to answer your question, prepare a quote for a limited run, and arrange a workshop visit or sample shipment. Technical and analytics data help us fix broken pages and decide which series to document next. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for unrelated advertising.
A few service providers process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, the analytics tool, and the email or form service that delivers your message to the studio. They act on our instructions and are bound to keep the data confidential. We do not pass your details to galleries, retailers or other third parties without your agreement.
Enquiry messages and commission notes stay in our records while the order or conversation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can trace glaze recipes, colour batches and measurements for repeat requests. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, request a portable copy, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Visitors in the EU and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to object to certain processing. Write to us and we will respond.
Send privacy questions, access or deletion requests to the studio. We answer from the workshop in Woodstock, usually within a few working days.
