What clients say after the pieces leave the workshop
Notes from cafés, design shops and galleries we have worked with. Each one mentions what actually changed in daily use, not just how the objects looked on delivery.
We ordered 24 pieces of the Woodstock dinnerware for our Observatory café. After eight months of daily service and a commercial dishwasher cycle, only one bowl chipped at the rim. The unglazed edge has held up better than the glazed plates we used before.
Nadia R., café owner, Observatory
The brushed brass pendants arrived with the technical sheet we asked for: diameters in millimetres, weight, E27 fitting. That made wiring them into our existing track straightforward. The linen shades have softened slightly with time, which we like.
Pieter M., design shop, Woodstock
We commissioned a run of naturally dyed throws for a winter exhibition. The colour cards they sent matched the delivered batch closely, and the acacia tones stayed stable after the first neutral wash. Visitors asked about the dye process more than the price.
Lerato K., gallery curator, Cape Town
We needed reclaimed timber shelving that fit an awkward corner in the shop. They measured on site, sent process photos during the build, and delivered within the agreed window. The joinery has not moved through a humid summer.
Sipho D., retail fit-out, Salt River
Before placing a full order we requested glaze samples. They sent four tiles with firing notes and a short explanation of how each would behave on a curved rim. That saved us from a costly mistake on the first batch.
Hannah V., product buyer, Cape Town
The product photography they shot of our collaboration was clean and honest, natural light, no heavy retouching. We used the images in our own catalogue and they held up in print at full page.
