Tableware in repeatable shapes
Bowls, plates and cups thrown in white stoneware, sized in millimetres so a replacement piece fits the stack you already own. Matte bone glaze, unglazed foot rings.
Most of our orders start with a shelf that needs filling or a menu that needs serving ware. We work from the Woodstock workshop on short runs, so a café in Observatory can reorder the same bowl shape two years later and still get a close match in glaze and wall thickness.
Below is what we actually take on, from single sample tiles to a full table setting for a new space. If your brief sits somewhere between two of these, that is usually where the interesting work is.

Pendant families in 120, 180 and 240 mm, with hand-sewn raw linen shades and E27 fittings. The finish dulls over time instead of flaking, which suits retail floors and dining rooms alike.
Wool and raw cotton dyed in acacia bark, madder root and onion skin baths, woven on a floor loom at 1400 mm width. Each batch gets a colour card so a later order can be matched.
Benches, plinths and low shelving built from salvaged Cape hardwood. We keep the nail marks and old saw cuts where they do not weaken a joint, and document every board before cutting.
Natural-light shots of the wheel, the drying shelf and the kiln curve, plus clean product frames on bone backgrounds. Useful when a store needs images for its own catalogue or window cards.
Before a full run we send test tiles and swatch cards so you can check tone against your own lighting. Small batches from the workshop, no minimum on samples.
We work with interior studios, design shops and cafés that need pieces they can actually put into daily use. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Every piece ships with a spec sheet in millimetres: diameter, wall thickness, weight, glaze code. You can plan shelving, stacking and shipping before anything leaves the bench.
We fire test tiles in your chosen glaze and send them out. You see the actual surface on your own counter or in your own light before confirming a full series.
We cap production per series so the tone, weight and finish hold across the batch. Reorders reference the original firing notes, which keeps a second run close to the first.
Our product photographer documents throwing, drying, glazing and the final piece. You get the images to use in your shop listings, lookbooks or gallery labels.
Brushed brass, reclaimed timber, undyed linen, acacia bark and madder root. If a client asks what a lamp or a cushion is made of, the answer is on the sheet, not in a guess.
Come to Woodstock, handle the pieces, check how a plate sits in the hand. It is the fastest way to decide on a series. See the commission options or read the Woodstock tableware case first.
