Serie Vajilla Woodstock
Vajilla torneada a mano en gres blanco con esmalte hueso mate
La serie Woodstock nació de un encargo para una cafetería en Observatory que buscaba vajilla resistente al uso diario sin perder presencia de taller. Cada pieza se tornea en gres blanco de alta cocción, se bruñe a mano y se cubre con un esmalte hueso mate que deja ver el grano de la pasta.
Las medidas van de 180 mm a 260 mm de diámetro, con espesores de pared entre 6 y 8 mm para equilibrar peso y durabilidad. Documentamos el proceso completo con fotos de torno, secado lento y curva de cocción a 1240 °C.
The brief
A café in Observatory needed 24 pieces that could handle daily service — stacked, washed, reheated — without looking like generic restaurant supply. They wanted the grain of the clay to stay visible under the glaze.
How we made it
Each piece is thrown on the wheel in high-fire white stoneware, burnished by hand, then coated in a matte bone glaze. Walls sit between 6 and 8 mm — heavy enough to feel solid, light enough to carry a tray.
What we documented
Wheel shots, slow-drying racks, and the full firing curve up to 1240 °C. Diameters run from 180 mm to 260 mm. Every batch gets a material sheet with real measurements in millimetres.
